Friends for Felines, Inc. a non-profit 501(c)3 organization, was formed to
increase cat adoptions in our community by bringing rescued cats closer to
the public in a highly visible, comfortable setting, while supporting the area
shelters that work tirelessly to save them.
In cooperation with the McKinley Mall, Friends for Felines opened Tabby
Town, a cat adoption center and store. The innovative and unique concept
of letting cats relax in a storefront window and making them cozy in condos
brought in a tremendous amount of interest, intrigue and curiosity.
Children view this as an adventure while adults see this as a wonderful way
to nurture the cats.
Now the official adoption center of Ten Lives Cat Rescue, the store has
grown not only in size but in heart. A committed team of volunteers came
together and because of their dedication and efforts an amazing 1,500 cats
and kittens have been adopted into new homes; cats that may otherwise
have been homeless or sitting in an overcrowded shelter. That
commitment extends to special needs cats as well. Tabby Town has
adopted out cats that are blind like Sweet Buddy or deaf like Snowflake, or
even a three-legged cat that's names Buddi too! Our dedication has no
limitations!
Tabby Town is a fun and educational experience for everyone who is either
looking to adopt a cat or would just like to visit with them. The cats love
the company and everyone is welcome.

and the corporate community. Through your contributions to our
organization we are able to keep Tabby Town open providing food, litter
and medical care including spay/neuter and educational programs.
